Agreement to these terms
By using monsterarcade.xyz you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site — there is no account to close and nothing to cancel.
These terms apply to everything on the domain: the games, the guides, the artwork and the code that runs in your browser.
Using the site
Monster Arcade is free to use for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may play the games, read the guides, and share links to any page as much as you like. Linking to us is welcome and requires no permission.
You agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce or republish our games, artwork, code or articles except as permitted under the intellectual property section below.
- Embed our games on another site by framing or hotlinking, without written permission.
- Attempt to interfere with the site, its hosting, or other visitors' use of it.
- Use automated systems to scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people.
- Remove, obscure or alter any copyright or attribution notice.
- Use anything from this site to train a commercial machine learning model without written permission.
Intellectual property
All content on Monster Arcade — game code, game design, creature designs, artwork, sound effects, written articles, layout and the site's visual identity — is original work and is owned by Monster Arcade unless stated otherwise. It is protected by copyright.
You may: link to any page, quote short passages with attribution and a link, and take screenshots for reviews, articles, videos or social posts.
You may not: republish articles in whole or substantial part, redistribute our game files, host our games elsewhere, or present any of our work as your own. For anything beyond the permitted uses, ask — we are reachable through the contact page and we are not unreasonable.
Third-party rights
We take originality seriously in both directions. Everything here was made for this site, and we deliberately use no characters, artwork, music, sound effects, trademarks or storylines belonging to any existing franchise. Our creatures, worlds and names are our own inventions.
If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, contact us at hello@monsterarcade.xyz with details and we will investigate promptly. We would rather resolve a genuine issue quickly than argue about it.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available but make no guarantee of uninterrupted access. Hosting fails, browsers change, and we may take pages down or alter them without notice.
Games may be rebalanced. A change to a difficulty curve or a timing window may mean a score you set previously would be harder or easier to achieve now. Since scores are stored only in your browser, we cannot and do not reset them.
Local storage and your data
The site stores gameplay data in your browser as described in the cookie and storage policy. You are responsible for that data on your own device.
We cannot recover lost favourites or scores under any circumstances, because we never receive them. Clearing your browser data, switching browsers or using private browsing will lose them.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
The guides on this site are advice about playing arcade games. They are offered in good faith and checked against our own code, but they are not professional advice of any kind and your results will vary.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monster Arcade will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the site — including loss of data, loss of scores, or inability to access the site.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Advertising
The site may display third-party advertising. Advertisements are provided by external networks and their content is not endorsed by us. We are not responsible for products, services or claims made in third-party advertising, and any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one published on this page, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Frequently asked questions
Can I embed your games on my website?
Not without written permission. Linking to a game page is always welcome and needs no permission at all.
Can I write about or stream your games?
Yes. Screenshots, video, reviews and articles are all fine, and a link back is appreciated rather than required.
Can I quote your guides?
Short quotes with attribution and a link are fine. Republishing an article in whole or substantial part is not.
Can you restore my lost high scores?
No. Scores exist only in your browser and we never receive a copy, so there is nothing for us to restore from.
